This was my very first montage created before Dust 2 Dust and was at first never meant to see the light of day. I made it with only two hours of game play and because I had a limited time I set up a few staged plays when I started recording. I needed to make sure I had enough footage to make a montage for my video editing class I was currently attending and I only had one 2 hour VHS tape. So, as a result some of the plays are pretty basic, but for only two hours I thought it was all right. This is the only montage IÂ ever staged a play in and as I said before, it was to make sure I had enough footage for my video editing class. So without further ado, enjoy the show.
HaloBoards.com now has 20 professional and semi-professional Halo 2 players offering lessons. The professional players lessons start at $40 for an hour or $25 for half an hour, whereas the semi professional players lessons start at $25 an hour or $15 for a half hour.
We have added great players like:

If you have always wanted to play with the pros and learn from them, now is your chance! Head on over to HaloBoards.com now to purchase a lesson.
Welcome to the new version of thehalogod.com! I’m pretty much done updating the site; however, I still need to add pages for purchasing lessons or editing and I also need to add all of my videos back onto the site. I will be uploading all of the videos to my official youtube channel and posting full resolution versions on this site as well.
Part of what makes this new version of the site great is the ability for all of you readers out there to comment on posts that I make. Simply scroll down on your browser to the “Meta” section and click “register.” There you can register for an account which will allow you to write comments on what I post. If you don’t want to register quickly or for free you don’t even have to create an account to comment on a post, but you will have to write in your information each time you want to write a comment (so it’s much easier to just register once so you don’t have to deal with it each time you log in.)
Also, please subscribe to my RSS feed, as well as, my youtube channel so you can get the content from me as soon as it’s posted. This site and my youtube channel will be the first places that my new montages will be posted and videos that I edit for others.
The first time I read this on various gaming sites I thought it was a joke, but Microsoft did confirm; however, that there was in fact partial nudity in the game:
“An unfortunate, obscure content error which includes partial nudity was included in our initial production of Halo 2 for Windows Vista.”
I found this story particularly suprising given that I worked on Halo 2 Vista as a game tester since late september of last year and never saw the partial nudity because if I had, I would have notified the appropriate members of the development team about it. Apparently, the error can occur while running into an “.ass” assertion error while using the map editor which then displays a picture of some guy showing off his backside. Our test team was never given the opportunity to use the map editor as this was being handled by other testers.
I’m sorry this will cost Halo PC fans several more days on an already delayed game. Sorry guys and gals, it looks like you won’t be able to play Halo 2 Vista until May 31st. Microsoft has already issued a patch for the game to remove the content, but not before they had to slap a partial nudity sticker on every single retail box.
I’ve finally found a reason to turn my Xbox on for more than one hour. Obviously if you’ve come to this website you’re at least familiar with the Halo series if not a rabid fan of it. In any case, I am extremely impressed with the Beta (having tested it at Microsoft back in Decemeber of 06 it was nice to see the progression). I won’t go into any details as to what was or wasn’t changed from when I played it, but I will say that -Â especially after playing the beta – Halo 3 will be better than Halo 2 and Halo 1 combined.
Now, what I say may be considered heresy to some old school Halo fans that say Halo 1 > all other Halo’s, but once you’ve spent some time with the beta you can already tell they’re going to fix the mistakes that Halo 2 had and throw in new features we didn’t even know we wanted (theater anyone?)
I will be converting this site to a wordpress blog as soon as I’m able to tear myself away from my Xbox 360; however, I don’t know when that might happen. I’m going to try my best to convert the site this weekend but we’ll see.
If you were contemplating wether it is worth the $60 to buy Crackdown just for the Halo 3 beta, don’t even think about it anymore. Buy the game so you can play the beta.
Hey guys and gals, I’ve finally gotten around to converting the site to a wordpress blog. I will be updating the look and content of the site over this weekend until I get it all the way I want it.
The bottom line – this will make it easier for readers of my site to comment on my posts, enjoy the site etc.
