I mentioned this before, but I always knew the most difficult thing for me would be to get 600 EXP as opposed to getting level 50 in a single playlist. Well, actually I have a 50 in team slayer and double team now. Anyways, late last night I played for about 4 hours with a couple of my buddies at got to 595 EXP before my wife woke up at 4:00 AM and told me to come to bed. So, I got up this morning and finish up the 5 extra EXP and finally had the general. I can’t remember how much EXP I had when I hit 50 but needless to say I was a long way off to my general by the time I got my first 50.
Now I know I could have simply done the exp boosting long ago when I got my first 50 but I think it’s kinda stupid to EXP boost, so I just put in the time and got it legit. I highly doubt that I’ll get to the General Grade 4 for at least a year or so if not ever. I’ve just been playing a lot of matchmaking because many of the good players are still playing Halo 2 for the MLG tournies.
As soon as more stuff is announced for Halo 3 and MLG then I’ll probably be done playing matchmaking. MLG gametypes are much better anyway. Also, I’m still doing a lot of Halo 3 lessons so if you’re interested in taking some check out the lessons page.

cool, I’ve got about 420xp and im lvl 40 in lone wolfs (thats my highest). btw are the lvl 50 people a lot harder than the lvl 40’s?

haha u cudnt resist goin 2 bed with ur misses ay.. haha, im level 43, 275 exp i think… i dont play much as im on marble blast ultra all the while, currently rank 6 on it and i can take 1st place if i put enough work in, i just dont seem to be able to level up in lone wolves, i come 1st or 2nd alot, and i never go up or down… looks like il hav 2 get that 50 in a different playlist lone wolves seems glitched

ive got my slayer, lonewolves and dubbles to 45 so far =p but i havent been able to try to 50 yet cuz my account exspired like 2 weeks ago, in about a week tho its my b-day so im getting live back hell yea!
ive been using a 1 munth account in the meanwile, but ive seemd to like H2 more now that ive got 1,012 exp on my main account…ive gotten bored of H3 already, i like the BR and snipes way better on H2.

Lol @ the wife dude.I get that too from my wife but usually around the 10:30pm mark when she goes to bed

Ah, so that’s why you’re a General, you’ve been one for nearly a year I suppose? Smart move, getting to the highest rank while everyone is still getting used to Halo 3 after about a week after the Launch, I bet you got used to the gameplay quickly, eh?
